Opening hours: Daily, 10am to 6pm (March to September), 10am to 5pm (October to February). Closed Good Friday and 24-26th December.

Cost: £6 adults, £4 concessions and children aged 5-16, £15 families (max. 2 adults and 3 children).

The Household Cavalry Museum is a unique living museum – about real people doing a real job in a real place. Unlike other military museums, it offers a rare ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at the ceremonial and operational roles of the Household Cavalry Regiment (you can even see troopers working with horses in the original 18th-century stables through a large glazed partition). The experience is brought to life through personal stories, first-hand accounts of the troopers’ rigorous training and rare objects.
